What a Way to Meet!
Tired of the same old dating routine? Not finding those that share
the same interest and cause you to feel a spark of possibility? Consider
a new way of doing things. Dinner dating has taken Australia by storm,
and for good reason! These dinner events are introducing singles to
others just like you that are looking for companionship and more. A safe
and fun environment, potential suitors are easily found in a relaxed
atmosphere. Stimulating conversation, good food and a reason to get
dressed up is all part of the fun when you decide to join.

Registration for a Rendezvous is free. Upon registration, you will be
asked questions that will determine where your matches are to be found.
You will be placed on their dinner invitation list with invites being
sent to the email you include. These events run at a certain time of the
year with a table of between 8 to 12 people. In this way, a variety of
potential matches are available to those attending, yet the number is
small enough to keep the gathering in an intimate way allowing
sufficient time to talk with all those that you are interested in.
There are no membership fees. This, alone, assures affordability. You
will pick and choose your events based on your availability. A booking
fee will apply to those events you wish to attend. You will also pay for
your meal and drinks. The option is yours, and can be booked on a whim,
or when the loneliness hits and you need a reason to believe, book it!
The restaurants are closely monitored to insure excellent service and
food. The majority of dinners cost $55 to $65 per person. Your
invitations will include specific information. Remember, first
impressions do count, so dress accordingly. No jeans or casual wear
should be considered the most minimal in wear. Dinner begins at 7:30pm.
Arriving 15 minutes early is considerate and shows good taste to the
other diners. During your profile process, you are asked to contribute a
fact about yourself to give to other diners. This is known as an
“icebreaker” and, of course, you will receive these on the others.
Whether or not you use them is up to you, but be prepared to run with it
if you are asked about yours. It’s a great way to get the conversation
going.
Please be aware your dinners are not hosted. It has been shown to be
more of a natural meeting between new friends that is successful in
making a connection. There will be those included in the groups that
have attended dinners before and this adds to the comfort of
experiencing this for the first time. If you meet someone you wish to
know better, then ask to exchange contact information before the evening
is over. Email service is also offered after the event, allowing others
to know you are interested in seeing them again. Your safety is assured
by only supplying your first name to others in attendance. Any other
information that is shared is what you decide to divulge during dinner.
